Promoter's Scholarship

At PCU, we are commited to being financially accessible to students from all backgrounds and from all over the world.

Precious Cornerstone University invites applications for the second tranche of the PCU Promoter’s Scholarship from newly admitted undergraduate students and from students being considered for admission to Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan for the 2018/2019 session irrespective of nationality, state of origin, tribe, gender or religion.

Instructions to applicants.

The PCU Promoter's Scholarship is a highly competitive Scholarship awarded through the generosity of the founder and chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, Bishop Francis Wale Oke.

  • It is part of the institution's support services to exceptionally brilliant but indigent student who otherwise may not be to afford University tertiary education.
  • The scholarship will be offered on an annual basis to newly admitted (UTME, JUPEB) students and could be held subject to the duration of a beneficiary's programme of study.
  • The scholarship is a partial scholarship that covers tuition fee, while the beneficiaries will be responsible for a one-time payment of other municipal and service charges as enumerated in the schedule of fees for undergraduate students which is available on the University website

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the scholarship must satisfy the following criteria:

1.

Have accepted admission or under consideration for admission to any of the degree programmes at Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan in the on-going admission cycle;

2.

Scored not less than 140 marks in 2018 JAMB UTME.

3.

Passed with not less than five credits at ordinary level or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects relevant to the field of study at only one sitting.

4.

Maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.50 to qualify for annual renewal of the Scholarship.
